The Good Shepherd Pt 2
This Sunday, we continue our journey through John 10, diving into verses 11–39. In this powerful passage, Jesus doesn’t just call Himself a shepherd—He declares, “I am the Good Shepherd.” What makes Him good? He lays down His life for the sheep. Unlike hired hands who run at the first sign of danger, Jesus stays. He protects. He sacrifices.
But there’s more. Jesus doesn’t come to fit into our version of the world. He comes to call us into His—a kingdom where His voice leads, His hand holds, and His life secures ours. As tension with the religious leaders rises, Jesus makes bold claims about His identity, unity with the Father, and the unshakable security of those who belong to Him.
Come ready to be challenged, comforted, and called deeper into the life Jesus offers—not on our terms, but on His.
