The Mission
The mission of CrossPoint Church is to welcome everyone into a transforming relationship with Christ.
The Vision
The vision of CrossPoint Church is to create a community of authentic believers that offer the Peace and Eternal Hope of Jesus to our region.
The Heart of the House ( Core Values)
Our core values guide the culture of CrossPoint. The Holy Spirit empowers us to live these values out in our day-to-day lives.
We Value People
Every Person is created in the image of God (Gen. 1:27) with inherent infinite value and worth. God values people so highly that he gives his only Son, Jesus Christ, to us (Jhn. 3:16). CrossPoint values each individual and wants to join them in discovering how God can meet their needs and concerns. We desire to create dialogue and take action in the issues that matter to the people around us.
Christ-Centered
As followers of Jesus, we intend to be entirely devoted to His Lordship (2 Cor. 4:5). We value the work and the person of Jesus Christ.
Bible-Based
God's Word is our guide, authority, and conscience. It is the basis for all we believe and practice (Ps. 119:105). The Bible remains as relevant in our current culture today as it was when it was originally written (2nd Tim 3:16-17).
Servant Leadership
We aim to equip every Christian to be servant-leaders in the home, community, and work (Matt 20:25-26, 2nd Cor 4:5 ). We give of ourselves through our time, talent, and treasure.
Strategic Stewardship
Everything belongs to God, and we are to be good stewards of His resources (1 Pet. 4:10). Therefore, we are to be generous and wise with our God-given resources ( 1 Tim 6:17-18).
Cultivating Relationships
Every believer should be connected to others in authentic relationships centered in Jesus Christ (1 Thess. 5:11). We strive to be an active, healthy, and life-giving church where all people can find a sense of belonging, support, and encouragement.
Missional Living
We value the cities and towns in which we live and serve (Acts 2:46-47). We desire to be actively involved in ways that improve our community's lives with the love of Christ. We value every opportunity given to us to make a difference in their lives personally and eternally (Phil. 2: 3-4).
Prayer
Prayer is a priority in every aspect of our lives (1 Thess. 5:17). Prayer is a means by which we magnify the greatness of God's power through our dependence upon Him alone (Phil. 4:6). By prayer, we advance the Kingdom of God and find specific direction for our lives and ministry.
Partnering with Families
Discipleship begins at home (Deut. 6:4-9) and every family is unique. We strive to partner with families in their homes and in the church to help them become disciples of Jesus Christ together (2nd Tim 1:5-6).
