Never Alone: I Believe in the Holy Spirit

Pastor Michael Perez

This Sunday we continue our Apostles’ Creed series with six simple words:

I believe in the Holy Spirit.

For some of us, the Holy Spirit feels mysterious.

For others, deeply familiar.

For many, somewhere in between.

But what if this line of the Creed is not about hype or debate…

What if it’s about presence?

The Spirit of God has always been near — from the opening pages of Scripture to the ordinary details of our everyday lives. Not just in dramatic moments. Not just in mountaintop experiences. But in the middle.

In the long week.

In the quiet prayer.

In the slow work of becoming more like Christ.

This Sunday we’ll reflect on what it means to believe in the Holy Spirit as fully God, always present, and actively shaping us — even when we don’t feel it.

If you’ve ever wondered where God is in the middle of your story, this message is for you.

Join us in person or online. We’d love to worship with you.

You are not alone.
